Hi, all! Over the past year, the training/writing/consulting business has ramped up nicely, and I just haven’t been posting blog content. So, I’ve archived the posts for now, and might revive this in the near future.
For examples of my work/writing, check out:
Should I get back to writing regularly, I’ll move this blog to the front page and you’ll be the first to know! 🙂
All official and stuff!
The picture says it all! Visit my speaker page at the IL conference site for more information about my sessions, and I hope to see you there!
Simple Joy, Jennifer Koerber, 2016 – See note below
Today, with the newness of spring outside, I’m officially hanging out my shingle. As of May 2016, I am available for training, speaking, consulting, and writing/editing services in the central New England area or online. Please contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or an estimate.
Here’s what I do:
- Training for the public in a library or nonprofit setting on online life and emerging technologies
- Library/nonprofit staff workshops and in-service days on professional self-development and emerging technologies
- Consultant services to advise on or develop library programs & services, customer service/retail skills, editorial/proofreading skills, basic HTML/CSS coding projects, website content migration to a CMS, website architecture and structure development, user experience in physical locations and online, and other, more eclectic topics
- Writer for long- or short-form assignments, in print or online
- Editor for web content, print or online publications, or slide presentations
My thanks to everyone who has helped make this day possible – former colleagues at the Boston Public Library, friends and supporters from grad school on, my family, and my husband Matthew, who has always been there for me.
I’m looking forward to working with you soon!
Note on the photo: I’m also participating in Somerville Open Studios with my husband Matt this weekend, April 30 – May 1. If you’re local this weekend, feel free to stop by and say hi! Information at the SOS website/my profile.
Over the past year and a half, Learning for Life Online at the Boston Public Library has showcased dozens of different tools and ways of living, being, and working online.
However, Learning for Life Online will go on indefinite hiatus as of January 2013. Past entries will remain available as an archive and a resource.
Thank you all for following along and contributing to the program. Be safe, have fun, and enjoy Life Online!
We’re sorry for a lack of posts this past month, LLO-ers. We’ve been reviewing the Learning for Life online program and will be making changes to the format in the new year.
During December, we’ll do a few last big resource roundup posts, then will give you a preview of what’s to come in 2013.
If Learning for Life Online has been helping you learn how to live life online, please leave a comment below and tell us how.
Thanks, and we’ll see you in December!
Apologies, all. Due to unforseen circumstances, there’ll be a one-day delay in this week’s LLO post. Check back this time tomorrow.
Due to the holiday, there’ll be no Learning for Life Online post today. Enjoy your day in the sun (if you’re in New England) and we’ll be back on the 10th to start a month of exploring visual life online. See you next week!
Apologies, all. There will be a one-day delay in this week’s Learning for Life Online. Tune in tomorrow for more on finding and using online help!
First, Happy New Year, LLO readers! I hope that the holidays have been good to you, and that you’ve entered the new year ready to gear up your life online (and off).
Due to a variety of circumstances, Learning for Life Online will be on hiatus for the month of January 2012. On Feburary 6, 2012, we’ll return with a new look and even more tools for living a better life online. You’ll see the announcements on Facebook and Twitter, or just visit our site here.
Thank you for staying with us, and for your patience as we revamp LLO for 2012. Cheers!
Apologies, all, but this week’s Learning for Life Online session will go up tomorrow, Tuesday the 15th. See you tomorrow!
